She’s right you know, there are books everywhere you look and being able to decipher the good from exceedingly average takes persistence and practice. However, if you’re a parent, chances are you lack time for either.
So I’ve fast tracked the hard work and am giving you my ULTIMATE hints in buying good books

Chris Ballew is probably better known to most as the front man for tongue in cheek rockers, Presidents of the United States of America.
However, to a growing fan base of miniature adults, he is known only as Caspar Babypants, the mad capped purveyor of timeless tunes such as Stompy the Bear, Mr Rabbit Mr Rabbit and The tree stump hotel.

None of us have the time for me to sit and list the benefits of construction, but trust and believe me when I say…CONSTRUCTION RULES. From maths and science, social and emotional, problem solving, confidence, trial and error, and pure enjoyment, there are few activities and events that rival the excitement in a child when this stuff is thrown out on a matt. There are approximately a billion brilliant toys to choose from but here I have listed 5 of the ones I personally have seen kids lose there cool over.
Side note: I have left lego out of this list intentionally. Hey, there’s a movie about the stuff. Me thinks they be doin’ fine without my endorsement.

Peter Dasent – Musician
Peter Dasent may not be a name bantered around the dinner table much but guaranteed his music has caused many a conversation.
As piano player on Play School, Peter was introduced to Justine Clarke… and the rest is current history.
It’s a small club that holds gold and platinum records in the children’s market, but Peter, through the voice of Justine, has given our children some of their greatest music ever.
